A hotel guest collapsed in his toilet and blocked the door, making any attempt to reach him and give him first aid impossible. Something had to be done, they couldn't wait for the rescue crew. Here is the story: It was past midnight when a guest with moderate disabilities returned to his room after having a good time, few drinks and fun in the hotel bar. While in the toilet, he lost consciousness, fell to the floor and blocked the door. His daughter alerted the front desk and two employees Adrian and Sotiris ran to help. There was no way to open the door, so the only way that seemed possible was through the faulse ceiling. Quickly, but carefully, they tore down the false ceiling and created an access point from which one entered the toilet to unblock the door and give emergency medical assistance. Fortunately, in the meantime the ambulance arrived and immediately transported hem to the hospital for medical examinations and treatment. What his daughter wrote on Tripadvisor: "... now if I could give 6 stars I would for the following reason ... my father collapsed in his bathroom trapping himself in it. The staff were INCREDIBLE, they removed the false ceiling in the room and bathroom and saved my father which is more than that and I will be forever grateful .... Even in the following days they were asking if we were ok and when my father returned after a short stay in hospital they were bent over backwards to see if he was ok too which thankfully he is......"
